How to Request Services for Your Child
We are pleased that you have chosen Marcus Autism Center to provide services for your child. We value your time as well as your concern for your child’s well-being.
Marcus Autism Center requires a provider referral for all new patients. This requirement is an important element of coordinating your child’s care and part of our effort to streamline care for all children in need of services. Please read the information below to learn how to request services for your child. It is important to follow these steps in order to avoid any delay in processing your request.
For Parents
To be eligible for services provided at Marcus Autism Center our referral form must be completed and submitted by a licensed healthcare provider. Please speak to your child’s healthcare provider about your concerns and ask about what services are recommended.
For Providers
We offer two options for submitting referrals.
- If your practice is on Epic, we accept Epic Referral Orders. Learn how to submit a referral through Epic.
- If you do not use Epic, please complete and submit our Marcus Autism Center provider referral form.
Please provide as much detail regarding the presenting concerns and services that are being sought so that we can process the request in a timely manner.

Next Steps
Once we have received a provider referral form completed by your child’s healthcare provider, our registration staff will contact you to complete your child’s registration within 3 – 5 business days and discuss the next steps. Medicaid Expansion
Marcus Autism Center is aware that the state of Georgia anticipates extending Medicaid coverage of screening, diagnosis and treatment services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We are taking advantage of every possible opportunity to advise our state government partners on how to make this new benefit meaningful for families in Georgia. Our team is preparing as much as possible to ensure that families will be able to take advantage of this benefit when receiving services at Marcus Autism Center or elsewhere.
