Study Description

Marcus Autism Center is conducting a research study for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who also have bowel movement accidents. This medication study involves treatment in our clinic for 1-2 weeks with follow up treatment provided at home.

Maggie Toops, now a happy, independent three-year-old, does not have autism. But when she was a newborn, her mother enrolled her in a research study for children, both with and without autism, aimed at learning more about the nature of this condition.
