When Kaleb was 18 months old, it seemed like all the words he learned were slowly slipping away. Kaleb’s pediatrician recommended that his mother take him to a developmental research study at Georgia State University, where he was diagnosed with pervasive developmental disorder (PDD). Fortunately for Kaleb, he received his diagnosis when he was just an infant.
