Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, 2nd Edition: Advanced Training Opportunity
Marcus Autism Center, a NIH Autism Center of Excellence, is hosting a training workshop for professionals interested learning more about the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, 2nd edition (ADOS-2).
The ADOS, 2nd Edition, is part of the gold-standard approach to use in a diagnostic workup for children and adults with possible autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This training workshop will provide intensive instruction of the psychometrics of the ADOS-2, allow participants to work in small groups to administer and score the ADOS-2 and involve detailed discussion surrounding administration and coding issues associated with the tool. Participants will receive coaching of their own administration and additional practice.
View the full event agenda here.
Who should attend?
Professionals who have already completed clinical training on the ADOS-2, those who need to transfer from the initial edition to the second edition and those who wish to achieve reliability with others using the measure. Arrangements to document research reliability may be separately arranged with the instructor.
Marcus Autism Center is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Marcus Autism Center maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Please, contact the training office with questions or concerns.
These workshops are approved for 6 (six) Continuing Education Credits for psychologists each day (possible total of 18 credits). Other disciplines should consult their professional boards or associations to determine if these credits can be counted toward their licensure or certification requirements.
