Giving Options
The Georgia Private School Tax Credit allows all taxpayers to receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit by contributing to a state-approved Student Scholarship Organization (SSO). This allows you to use some of your state tax payments as scholarships—at no cost. In addition to a state tax credit, your contribution can be claimed as a charitable contribution deduction on your federal return.
Matching Gifts—Your gift could be matched dollar for dollar.
Many companies and organizations provide matching gift programs that will substantially increase the value of your gift. Check with your personnel/human resources office to see if this is a program your company offers. If so, obtain the appropriate forms and send it with a copy of your gift receipt to:
