Volunteering at Marcus Autism Center
Whether you are searching for a rewarding and special way to spend your time or looking for ways to renew your commitment to children, the patients and families at Marcus Autism Center need you. Volunteers are an integral part of our mission to provide information, services and programs to children with autism and related disorders and their families, as well as those who live and work with them, throughout Georgia.
All volunteers are members of the Miracle Workers, our volunteer guild.
Ways to volunteer
- In-service volunteer opportunities.
Volunteers help assist our clinicians and our children at Marcus Autism Center. Specific opportunities are available for adults and college students.
- Community volunteer opportunities.
Volunteers help stage our events, raise funds and awareness of Marcus Autism Center. Specific opportunities are available for adults and college students.
How to volunteer
- Review the In-service volunteer opportunities and the Community volunteer opportunities.
- Review all the volunteer requirements.
- Complete the health screen requirements.
- Submit an application.

Selections are made by matching the current volunteer opportunities with the interests and availability of potential volunteers. If we find a match, one of our volunteer coordinators will contact you for a personal interview. Although we are continually assessing the volunteer needs of Marcus Autism Center, we may not be able to match your interests and availability with our current opportunities. We will keep your application on file in case a match is made at a later date.
