Home Depot Marcus Hospitality Cottage
The Atlanta Hospital Hospitality House and The Home Depot Foundation recently opened The Home Depot Marcus Hospitality Cottage. The new cottage is a 1,400-square-foot handicapped-accessible facility that provides lodging, meals and a supportive environment for patients and families receiving treatment at Marcus Autism Center and other area hospitals.
Funded by a grant from The Home Depot Foundation, the newly built Home Depot Marcus Hospitality Cottage has four bedrooms that can accommodate as many as eight guests. The cottage presents a unique partnership between multiple not-for-profit organizations to offer a caring environment for patients outside the walls of a medical facility.
