Marcus Autism Center is an Autism Center of Excellence and one of the nation's leading centers for clinical care and research centers for autism and related disorders, treating more than 5,000 children a year.

Clinical services

Behavior Treatment Clinics: provides a range of services from behavioral assessments to in-home interventions for children exhibiting skill deficits or problem behaviors.

Early Intervention Program: develops readiness skills, enabling children to successfully transition to community schools and kindergarten programs.

Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Drug Exposure Center: offers many diagnostic and support services for families seeking care for a child who was exposed to drugs and alcohol before birth.

Pediatric Feeding Disorders Program: provides evidence-based, intensive day treatment for children with feeding disorders.

Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Center: offers outpatient consultations and treatments for those diagnosed with developmental, emotional and psychological difficulties.

Telemedicine: provides access to our specialists for children throughout Georgia.

Respite care: includes therapy, emergency housing and treatment programs for children and adults with special needs.

Marcus Autism Center Summer Symposium
July 15-July 18
This year's symposium features more than 20 of the nation's leading experts on the treatment, diagnosis and biological underpinings of autism spectrum disorders. Topics range from the genetics of autism to the assessment of psychiatric comorbidities in children. Register now—space is limited—$750 for the week; $220 per day.

Focus Group for Families with Children with Autism

Read the latest resesarch from the staff of Marcus Autism Center. With more than 20 individual presentations, you can read about everything from gender differences and autism to improved behavioral treatments.

Camp You B You—Registration Now Open
The fifth annual Camp You B You summer camp provides social skills building within an inclusive setting for children from ages 5 to 12 with high-functioning autism and related disorders. We welcome children who can commit to attending one or both three-week sessions of camp. Typically developing children, including peers and siblings, are also welcomed to attend camp.
