About Us

The Marcus Autism Center Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Center offers comprehensive outpatient programs, providing consultation and treatment for common to complex child developmental, emotional and psychological difficulties. The staff at Marcus Autism Center helps diagnose and provides treatment through detailed evaluation and medication management, including psychotherapeutic interventions.

Treatment

The Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Center provides an array of treatments for individuals from infancy through adolescence. For any child with difficulties, the first step to determine effective treatment is a proper diagnosis using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). Our commitment to improving the lives of children and their families begins with that first step.

A patient’s treatment plan is formed with the help of our clinicians who evaluate and recommend treatment options for every patient. As your patient undergoes treatment, caregivers will have the benefit of multidisciplinary care and support services all under one roof.

To have the greatest impact on families, the Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Center also provides clinical social work services for the Marcus Autism Center Behavior Treatment Clinics and the Marcus Autism Center Pediatric Feeding Disorders program. Our staff strives to help children with autism and related disorders live more independent lives.

Services

The Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Center offers:

  • Coordination with a patient’s school and medical specialists
  • Diagnostic evaluation
  • Evaluations
  • Individual and family therapy
  • Interdisciplinary coordination and advocacy for patients and families
  • Parent training
  • Pharmacotherapy

The Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Center provides every patient with an evaluation using the same methods and tools, ensuring that all children are given a consistent diagnosis.
