Norman Shutters Resource Center Grand Opening
In celebrating Autism Awareness Month, The Marcus Institute held a Grand Opening of the Norman Shutters Resource Center on April 5th. The Norman Shutters Resource Center is a health information center accessible to Marcus parents and employees, as well as the public. It is a center run by volunteers who are dedicated to providing a helping hand through research, guidance and overall assistance.

The event included a tour by our own Miracle Workers of the newly designed Resource Center. We held a community fair with representatives from various agencies from our community distributing information and resources to parents as they visited the facility. A special thanks to Build-A-Bear for bringing their truck to our location and providing our school kids with an exciting opportunity to Build-A-Bear of their choice. Complimentary gifts were also provided to each visitor at the event. A special thanks to Walk for Autism for their support.
