In an instant The Marcus Institute had a new playground. Well, not quite an instant, but almost. In just one day over 100 volunteers from The Home Depot and Greenberg Farrow joined together with staff from The Marcus Institute and its neighbors in the community to erect a new playground at The Marcus Institute. KaBoom, a non-profit group based in Washington, D. C., coordinated the entire effort, just as they have in some 90 other communities throughout the United States. The kids at Marcus Institute and in the neighborhood have become a swinging and sliding crowd. Thanks Home Depot, KaBoom and all the other volunteers for this new playground dedicated to Bernie Marcus upon his retirement as Chairman of the The Home Depot Board of Directors. We really love our amazing new playground.
