Ryan Jowers is Director of Operations for Marcus Autism Center. He oversees the center's clinical, research and general operations.
Ryan is an accomplished administrator, who has delivered organizational excellence by leading change in complex academic healthcare settings. Before coming to Marcus Autism Center, Ryan spent 14 years at Emory University and Emory Healthcare in a number of healthcare and operational roles. Most recently, Ryan served as Administrator for the Division of Infectious Diseases, where he was responsible for the financial, accounting, forecasting, marketing, strategic planning and human resources activities of the division. This included clinic operations at nine locations and a research portfolio annually in excess of $30 million.
Ryan also spent time leading key groups and projects in the Departments of Hematology and Medical Oncology, Biomedical Engineering and Information Services.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and computer science from Furman University in Greenville, S.C. In addition, he holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. Ryan’s MBA work concentrated on organization and management with a subspecialty focus in entrepreneurship.
