Amy Kincheloe, PhD, is a senior clinical psychologist on the assessment and diagnosis team at Marcus Autism Center. She specializes in the diagnostic assessment of toddlers, children and adolescents suspected of having autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Dr. Kincheloe is also actively involved in the clinical characterization of children participating in research studies at Marcus Autism Center. She is passionate about the importance of early identification of autism and helping families identify and access services in the community.
Dr. Kincheloe earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Emory University in 2011. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Emory University School of Medicine prior to specializing in neurodevelopmental assessment during her postdoctoral fellowship at Marcus Autism Center. Following the completion of her postdoctoral training, Dr. Kincheloe worked in private practice conducting psychoeducational and developmental assessments prior to returning to Marcus Autism Center in 2015.
Dr. Kincheloe is actively involved in her professional community and works to raise awareness of autism, as well as other developmental and psychological concerns experienced by youth. She has lived in metro Atlanta since 2005 and is married with three children.
