Behavioral Clinical Practitioner
Alyssa Desai, MS, BCBA, received her master’s in psychology in applied behavior analysis from Capella University and is a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). She received her bachelor’s in applied behavioral science from the University of Kansas.
Alyssa is a Behavioral Clinical Practitioner in the Language and Learning Program at Marcus Autism Center, where she works with children, families and therapists to develop interventions that promote adaptive behaviors and enrich the lives of her clients. Her interests and experience in early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder include promoting verbal behavior, improving play skills and reducing challenging behaviors. She is also passionate about training caregivers on effective strategies to promote success outside of the clinic.
