Behavioral Clinical Practitioner
Jana Coleman, MS, BCBA, received her master’s in applied behavioral analysis from Georgia State University and is a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). She received her bachelor’s in sociology from the University of North Georgia. Jana is a Behavioral Clinical Practitioner in the Language and Learning Program at Marcus Autism Center, where she works with minimally verbal clients and their families to develop and manage interventions based in applied behavioral analysis to promote language and skill acquisition. Her interests include teaching children with autism functional communication to reduce challenging behaviors. She also enjoys working with therapists and caregivers to train them in implementing strategies, as well as working with caregivers to promote generalization of skills in a home environment.
