Amara Brookins, BS, is an Assistant Teacher for the 2-year-old class in the Preschool Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia State University. Amara has seven years of experience working with young children and families. She brings a warm and inviting personality to the classroom that fosters growth and learning for each individual child. Amara is a firm believer in making sure every child feels heard and acknowledged, and it brings her joy to witness the growth in children. Raised in the Washington, D.C., metro area, Amara enjoys exploring what the city of Atlanta has to offer. She loves to hike, swim and spend time with loved ones.
