Isra Ghanim, BS, a first-generation Sudanese American and a native of Georgia, is the lead teacher in the 3-year-old class in the Preschool Program. She earned an early childhood education bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State University with a concentration in ages: birth to 5 and an endorsement in special education. She has also completed training in The Creative Curriculum; the Social Communication, Emotional Regulation and Transactional Support (SCERTS) Model; and Autism Navigator. Isra Ghanim is fluent in Spanish, English and Arabic. She lived in five different countries before going to college, which strengthened her intercultural understanding and sensitivity. Isra is strongly committed to providing Preschool Program families and children with a loving, nurturing and developmentally stimulating foundation for a lifetime full of learning.
