Melissa Bussey

Assistant Teacher

Melissa Bussey is an Assistant Teacher in the 2-year-old class at the Louise and Brett Samsky Preschool at Marcus Autism Center. She has more than a decade of experience in early childhood teaching. She graduated from Albany Technical College with her diploma and certificate in early childhood education, as well as a specialist certificate in special education.

Melissa is CPR and first-aid certified, and has completed multiple trainings through the National Association for the Education of Young Children and Georgia Bright from the Start. She is particularly skilled at storytelling and providing creative, messy play opportunities for children. She was born and raised in Georgia. She has two children and enjoys shopping and traveling.
