Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Lauren Schexnayder, MS, BCBA, received their master’s in applied behavioral analysis from the University of Georgia and is a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Lauren is a Team Lead BCBA in the Skill Acquisition program, where they work on improving verbal communication skills and reducing barriers to learning for their clients. They have experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities in both clinic, home and school settings. Lauren’s clinical interests include programming for the implementation of naturalistic teaching methods rooted in child development, along with systematic direct instruction to increase functional communication, social engagement and play skills for children with autism. Lauren also enjoys working with therapists and caregivers to train them in implementing strategies.
