Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral

Tracy Argueta, PhD, is a board-certified behavior analyst at the doctoral level and a licensed behavior analyst in the Skill Acquisition program at Marcus Autism Center. Currently, she coordinates research for the Skill Acquisition program. Her primary research interests include conditioned reinforcement (i.e., establishing new rewards), token economies, preferences and neuro-affirming interventions.

Dr. Argueta received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Florida International University in 2014, a master’s degree in professional behavior analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2016, and a doctorate in psychology (with a behavior analysis specialization) from the University of Florida in 2022. She also completed training as a postdoctoral fellow at the Marcus Autism Center from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining the Marcus Autism Center community, Dr. Argueta was a faculty member teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students on behavioral science and procedures. Additionally, she has over a decade of clinical and research experience working with children on the autism spectrum. Clinically, she has provided services in clinics, schools, homes and the community, teaching communication and foundational skills and addressing complex behavior.
